Panuba Beach can be very enticing if you are looking for peace and tranquillity in your vacation, typically your objective when visiting Tioman Island. Panuba is actually part of the private beach operated by the Panuba Inn Resort which is located around the north western side of the island. What you get here when you approach Panuba is stilt-strewn structure and some local-design huts which makes you want to relax almost immediately. Put that on with the soft and white sands, tall trees and its isolated location and you can really destress completely.
From the resort, you are welcomed with the scent of the fresh breeze sweeping in from the coast with the coral-coloured water gushing by. From here, you can take your usual beach-side strolls under the tropical sun or take a sea taxi to nearby villages. If you are adventurous and up for the challenge, there are jungle trails that take you there as well.
Otherwise, you can take a short walk through the jungle footpath which will get you to Ayer Batang Village. Towards the north is where you will come to a beach which is practically inhabited while Salang Village and Monkey Bay are both nearby as well.
