However, if you are planning to come for scuba diving, you can actually start around February and this goes on until late October where the remaining months are wetter. Between March and May and September to November.

Conditions for Diving in the Island

If you are here during the diving season, you will experience mostly clear and still water with visibility ranging between 10 and 30 meters. The current here is quite calm with water temperature at an average of 28 degrees Celsius.

Tioman Island actually has more than 20 popular dive spots, each of which have their own uniqueness and difficulty levels. Teluk Kador is quite a popular place while most divers will tell you to head out toward Tiger Reef or to Magician Rock, which offer some of the most beautiful sights around.

Other known places to scuba dive includes the Soyak Wreck which has 2 sunken fishing boats, Chebeh Island which has several dive spots, the Fan Canyon, Malang Rock, the Bahara Rocks known for its rich species of fishes and Pulau Labas, among others.
